The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the conduct of the re-run election earlier scheduled for Saturday, 5 2016 for the Anambra Central Senatorial District.
According to INEC’s bulletin the postponement is in view of a court order issued today by an Abuja High Court restraining it.
According to the National Commissioner in charge of the Operations Committee, Hajiya Amina Bala Zakari, the Commission is yet to determine a date for the conduct of the said election.
