I believe that leaders need to open their minds to the fact that they have two tasks, one to the people they represent, and secondly, making their aides, or any one below the cadre of their portfolio understand that they are working for the people and need to get information about how the masses are faring with the policies they initiate and implement, it’s that simple, I won’t call it common sense, but it really is simple.
There are so many communities even in main cities that do not have power supply in states across the federation and some people in those governments are in committee’s giving their governor false information about the projects, until it finally gets to times of another election, and everything just comes to light. Some governors in Nigeria are very ill informed about how the masses are faring, and when they continue in that light, they don’t make the required impact needed for positive change.
While governance is something African leaders are trying to figure out to make better decisions, a binding factor amongst different countries is foot ball.
