Raila Odinga, the former Prime Minister of Kenya, emphasizes that Africa’s history, heritage, and culture will take centre stage at the upcoming FESTAC Africa Festival in Kisumu, Kenya.

Scheduled from May 20 to 26, 2024, this event promises to be a gathering of distinguished individuals from around the world, bringing together expertise, passion, and a forward-looking vision.

Under the theme “Sustainable Growth Trajectory For Africa Through Culture, Trade, Travel, & Tourism,” the festival aims to explore avenues for Africa’s sustainable development.

Odinga is set to lead a distinguished group of thought leaders and experts, hailing from Nigeria, Ghana, the United States, and other countries. He expressed his anticipation for this historic gathering in a video shared by @FESTACAFRICA.

“This is going to be a very historic meeting,” Odinga stated, emphasizing the importance of discussing African culture, history, and heritage. His presence on May 20th underscores the significance of the event.
