In the past, parents totally believedĀ  that anybody that chooses entertainment or sports as a path of getting sustainable employment was headed to becoming a total rascal. As a matter of fact, this notion led to so many people that could have been able to rise like Odion Oghalo , to add up to the current wave of youths looking for jobs even after good degrees, this aspect however does not play down the role of education in the society , but just to highlight the fact that sports used to have very low funding in the past, and many people could not say they were earning good sums from soccer at such, so it looked like a sports for school outs and the NFA “No future ambition” , people that know that slang, know. Fast forward to 2022 when soccer has become one of the highest paying sports globally , and now we see parents of different classes, register their wards into soccer academies very early , just to be able to groom them into soccer starsĀ  , and good earning individuals, it is shocking.

The Nigerian super Eagles have opened their camp for the play off match against the Black Stars of Ghana. Al Hilal striker, Orion Ighalo , William Troost Ekong , Leon Balogun , Semi Ajayi , Babafemi Raji and many others as at Monday , March 21st, were said to be present in preparation of the two-leg playoff which will see the Super Eagles play their Ghanaian counterparts at the MKO Abiola Stadia in Abuja on the 29th of MarchĀ  , while the first leg will be played on Friday , 25th March in Ghana.
