Vision 2070: Anambra Will Be A Model State Says Prof. Soludo

In line with Gov. Willie Obiano’s developmental plan for the state, Prof. Charles Soludo, the Chairman of Anambra State Vision 2070 has said that the strategic plan will effectively change Anambra into a model state breaming with opportunities for all.

He made this disclosure at a meeting with members of the Anambra State House of Assembly at the Conference Hall in Awka.

Prof Soludo who appeared with his team explained that the Anambra Vision 2070 is a strategic plan for the state in the next fifty years, which the people collectively signed for their benefit.

According to the ex CBN Governor, for the vision to become a reality, every lover of the state must contribute to ensure the goal becomes a reality.

Speaking also at the meeting, Right Honourable Uche Okafor, the Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly noted that the Anambra State Vision 2070 is all about developmental policies. To this end,the state must begin now to implement in order to achieve it.

He also assured that the House will pass a bill that will enable it to work as the Obiano’s administration is determined to accomplish the Anambra State Vision 2070 and has all the machinery needed to make it work.

In the same vein, the Chairman, Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Information and Culture, Honourable Okechukwu Okoye, noted that the
vision is achievable with the collective efforts of the people and the commitment of Professor Soludo and his team to the actualization of the vision.
