Onitsha Drug Traders Donate Vehicles To Anambra State Police

As part of their duty to help strengthen security operations in the State, the traders at the Drug and Medicine International Market, Bridge Head Onitsha, Anambra state have donated 3 vehicles to the police in the zone.
Chief Donatus Ajamma, the Chairman of the market stated that the gesture was part of their social responsibility, given the importance of security in the State.

According to him, “the traders have come to realize the importance of security to the ease of doing business hence their resolve to contribute their quota towards the overall development of the state”.

On his part, Mr. Uche Okafor, the   Commissioner for Trade and Commerce stated that business could only thrive where there was security. Thus, he applauded the traders for their kind gesture which is in line with state government’s ideology to provide adequate security.

Mr. Danmallam Mohammed, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the newly created zone, who received the keys to the three vehicles assured that those in Enugu and Anambra states will continue to have a crime free society which in turn guarantees the ease of doing business.
