The Chairman of the newly inaugurated committee on Procurement, Pricing, Regulation, and Distribution of Petroleum Products, Chief Chris Okonkwo has advised petrol tanker drivers in Anambra state to always apply caution while driving.

This advice is coming off as a result of the occurrence where a petrol tanker fell at Aguleri, Anambra East Council Area. It was for this reason he urged them to always be careful and also ensure that their tankers are maintained regularly, since the ember months and rainy season are in full effect.

Furthermore, he heaped praises on the officials led by Engineer Martin Agbili for their prompt intervention, which prevented what would have been a fire incident, urging them to sustain the tempo. He also commended Governor Willie Obiano for providing state of the art equipment for Anambra State Fire Service.
