As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Africa Magic has introduced a fresh brand logo and unique identity colors for each of its seven channels.
This exciting transformation was unveiled at the stroke of midnight on October 1, 2023.
Dr. Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice West Africa, shared her thoughts on this initiative. She emphasized that these changes to Africa Magic channels aim to reflect the beauty, spirit, distinctiveness, and rich diversity of cultures across the African continent. She stated, “As part of Africa Magic’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, we are revealing a new Africa Magic logo, accompanied by distinctive colors for each of our seven channels available on DStv and GOtv. This fresh look officially kicked off on October 1, coinciding with Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day celebration.”
Over the past two decades, Africa Magic has embarked on a remarkable journey of impactful storytelling and audience engagement. The new logo and channel colors symbolize the resilience, creativity, enthusiasm, warmth, unity, joy, inspiration, and optimism found within the diverse cultures of Africa. Dr. Tejumola expressed Africa Magic’s commitment to continuing its mission of delivering high-quality entertainment content that portrays the everyday realities of Africans for both African and global audiences.
Africa Magic has come a long way since its inception as a single channel in 2003. Today, it boasts seven channels, including Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, Africa Magic Family, Africa Magic Yoruba, Africa Magic Igbo, Africa Magic Hausa, and Africa Magic Epic. With an impressive library of over 30,000 hours of original content and approximately one million daily viewers, Africa Magic has firmly established itself as the trusted source for top-notch family entertainment in Africa.
