Federation Cup Round 32 Kano Pillars vs. Doma United, Rivers vs. Tornadoes

The upcoming round of 32 fixtures for the 2024 President Federation Cup promises thrilling matchups, with Kano Pillars set to clash with Doma United of Gombe at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Abuja on Wednesday, May 22nd. After a hard-fought battle in the Round of 64, Kano Pillars, affectionately known as “Sai Masu Gida,” secured their spot by defeating Enugu Rangers 6-5 in a penalty shootout at the Bwari Township Stadium, Abuja, following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

In another intriguing matchup, former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Plateau United will face off against Sunshine Stars at the FIFA Goal Project, Abuja. Both teams will aim to outsmart each other in their quest to advance to the Round of 16.

Rivers United and Niger Tornadoes, two NPFL sides, will battle it out for a spot in the next round at the Auchi Football Pitch on the same day, May 22nd. Meanwhile, Edel FC of Anambra will face a tough challenge against the anti-financial crime agency football club, EFCC, at the Kwara Sports Complex in Ilorin.

Lobi Stars will meet Shooting Stars of Ibadan in an all-NPFL affair in Awka, while Gombe United and El-Kanemi will vie for a place in the round of 16 in Kaduna. Bendel Insurance and Wikki Tourists will also go head-to-head at the Area 3 Football Pitch, Abuja.

Nasarawa United and Sokoto United will square off in a Nigeria National League (NNL) encounter in Kano, while Warri Wolves will battle Kwara United in Enugu. Abia Warriors will take on Sporting Supreme of Abuja in Benin, and ABS FC and Kebbi United will fight for a place in Round 32 at the Abuja Goal Project.

Additional Round 32 fixtures include Ikorodu City versus Coal City in Benin, Hammola Int’l versus Inter Lagos in Ibadan, FC One Rocket against Enyimba in Yenagoa, and Katsina United versus Bayelsa United at Abuja Bwari.
