The Lagos State Government has announced restriction of movement across the state for tomorrow Saturday the 24th of July between the hours of 8am and 3pm.

Commissioner for Information and Shell strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, in a statement said that the restriction is to enable the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) conduct a problem free election into positions of Chairmen and Councillors in all 57 local governments and local council development areas.

He urged eligible voters to participate in the elections, also requiring the cooperation of all residents.

This would enable easy movement of the electorate, election materials and LASIEC officials, and security.
