Nigerian hip-hop artist Panshak Henry Zamani, better known by his stage name Ice Prince Zamani has been arrested in the early hours of Friday by officers of the Lagos state Police command for assaulting a police officer.
It was gathered that around 3 am on Friday, he was flagged down by police officers for driving without license plates.
Ice Prince was said to have initially agreed to be taken to the station immediately but abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the lagoon.

Confirming the details of the incident on his Twitter handle, the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, Superintendent Benjamin Hundeyin tweeted;
“He agreed to be taken to the station. He thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today”.
