In a landmark outing, a sociopolitical youth group known as YESS Anambra, has concluded a two day Entrepreneurship training for her members. The training was a skill acquisition exercise aimed at teaching participants basic skills in the production of household cleaning materials/substances.
Speaking at a brief opening ceremony at the event the Chairman of the occasion, Barrister Maxwell Udechukwu charged Participants to pay serious attention to the Instructors. He noted that the quality of training can be a life changing encounter that will set the participants up for better ends in life, as the 21st century will be run by wealth creators and not job seekers. The Chairman further made a cash donation of 20,000 Naira to help meet the start up needs of the most outstanding Trainee.
Speaking shortly after the Chairman’s remark, the Convener of YESS Anambra, Dr Nelson Omenugha thanked the Chairman for his kind words and immense support. He Stated that the fundamental goal of YESS is to build youths who will be ready to take up the challenge of ending the unemployment plague in the country. According to him, the vision is to have young ndi Anambra with multiple skills fit for 21st century survival needs that would appeal to financial agencies or investors.
