“We Will Pay Anambra Civil Servants” – Gov. Obiano

Excitement filled amongst civil servants in Anambra State since Sunday, November 10, as the governor of the state, Willie Obiano announced the approval of salaries and allowances for December, 2019 and to be paid before Christmas day during the dedication of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic parish, Agu-Awka, Awka,

 

According to reports from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Gov. Obiano represented by the state’s head of service, Harry Udu, said salaries would be paid before December 15, to permit occupants of the state have a happy Christmas festivity.

Harry said that the important news is that the governor has approved the payments of all their entitlements by December 15, and the schedule for it has been prepared.  The schedule contains payment date for November salary, leave allowances and December salary.

This is to guarantee that we celebrate Christmas in a very calm way as normal,” he said. In his instructing, Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor of the Awka Catholic ward, asked Christians to consistently be devout.

He added that the motive behind the decision is to guarantee that Christmas is been celebrated in a very calm way as normal.

Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor of the Awka Catholic ward in his teaching, urged Christians to be more devoted asides coming to church to pray. He also thanked God for the actualization of their parish building.
