Afenifere Leader, Pa Ayo Adebanjo graced the Obidatti campaign held on Wednesday in Ibadan for the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.
Sharing the news of the campaign rally on his official Twitter handle, Obi said the rally was expected to be a massive one.
He tweeted, “Today, the OBIdient train has rolled into Oyo. It will be the Mother of all rallies. My team and I are looking forward to a huge rally; the non believers will come to believe. We are taking back Naija. – PO”.

In a tweet, the Labour Party also expressed its astonishment at the large crowd that turned up for the rally while taunting their opposition party, the All Progressive’s Congress.
“Never seen before crowed welcomed @PeterObi to Ibadan. @NgLabour shock APC in the South West today to their very foundation. A new Nigeria Is Possible. Vote Labour Party.#PeterObiForPresident2023,” the tweet reads.
Prior to the rally, the party held a pre-presidential campaign rally press conference at Davies Hotel No 7/8 Adeyi Avenue Ibadan, Oyo State.
Present at the press conference were some of the campaign committee including; Dr Yunusa SALISU Tanko Chief Spokesperson LP-PCC, Dele Farotimi Spokesperson LP-PCC and Joseph Ndirang North Central Coordinator LP-PCC mobilising the Labour Movement for the rally .
