The Federal Government of Nigeria has barred some international airline operators from flying into Nigeria’s airspace. This is coming off athe recent Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 briefing.
According to Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation, these barred airline operators include Air France, KLM, Etihad, Rwandair, Lufthansa, TAAG Angola Airlines and others.
Conversely, the other airlines granted flight approval include Middle-East, British Airways, Delta Airlines, Qatar Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Egyptair, Air Peace, Virgin Atlantic, Asky, Africa World Airways (AWA), Air Cote-d’Ivoire, Kenya Airways, Emirate, and Turkish airlines.
It should be pointed out that international flights is scheduled to commence on Saturday, September 5th.
