Governor Adeleke Urges NYSC Corps Members to Champion Unity and Innovation

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has imparted words of wisdom to the corps members assigned to his state, urging them to champion unity and peace in their respective places of primary assignment.

During the closing ceremony of the Batch A Stream 1 Orientation course of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ede, Osun State, he gave this counsel. The governor encouraged the corps members to be agents of positive change, shaping the future of both the state and the nation.

He stated, ā€œThe future is in the hands of those who dare to think differently and create opportunities where none seem to exist. As young and vibrant individuals, you possess the power to drive positive change and shape the future of our nation.ā€

He emphasized the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in their endeavors, urging them to let the core values of NYSC guide them in prioritizing their tasks on this noble journey of nation-building.

Governor Adeleke expressed his appreciation to the NYSC Coordinator in the state, Mr. Agbor Obim, and all the camp officials for their relentless efforts in ensuring the success of the orientation course. He reassured the corps members and the NYSC of his administrationā€™s unwavering support in facilitating the orientation programs in the state.

In his welcome address, Obim advised the 2024 Batch A stream 1 corps members to approach their service year with enthusiasm and a sense of purpose. He further urged them to be team players and contribute significantly to the success of any organization they were posted to.

He expressed his gratitude to the NYSC Director-General, Brigadier-General Yushau Ahmed, and other stakeholders for their invaluable support in ensuring the success of the orientation course.
