Speaking at the event, the Coordinator of the Women of Honour, Aniocha North, Mrs. Jessica Nwaochei, expressed profound gratitute to Dr. Nwoko for his support, encouragement and guidance since the inception of the group.

She affirmed that even though the group was politically motivated and created to support and deliver Prince Ned Nwoko as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to represent Delta North Senatorial District; Dr. Michael Nwoko had been a pillar of support in ensuring the survival and sustenance of the group since 2018.

In her words, “This gesture is to let Dr. Michael Nwoko know that we love him and appreciate him so much. This is to further motivate him to continue to render his support to the group in terms of fatherly guidance, encouragement and empowerment to enable us attain the target height we have set for ourselves.

“We are assuring him that we will continue to support his brother Prince Ned Nwoko, even beyond his victory as the next Senator for Delta North Senatorial District.

“This is a group of responsible and respected women in politics from Aniocha North. We are here for our own, and we must as wives and mothers project and vote our son who is eminently qualified to change our stories as women. That is why we pride ourselves as Women of Honour in anticipation of the glory that is coming to women through Prince Ned Nwoko as a Nigerian Senator”, Mrs. Nwaochei said.

Overwhelmed, Dr. Michael Nwoko appreciated the women for not losing sight of the little he has been doing to ensure victory for his brother in his Senatorial election and by extension, the election of all PDP candidates.

He assured to continue to do his modest best in ensuring that quality leadership is restored to Nigerian Democracy.

He once again, commended the Women of Honour for finding him worthy to step into the exalted position of Patron to the group.

Nwoko promised never to disappoint them by virtue of the confidence reposed in him.
