The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Gregory Obi has defeated the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his Lagos stronghold.
This was based on the collation of results at the Independent National Electoral Commission Lagos State collation centre in Yaba. Obi won nine local government areas of the state.
The Local Government Areas Obi won are Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Amuwo-Odofin, Eti-Osa, Ikeja, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Somolu, Ojo and Alimosho
Tinubu secured victory in Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere.
