Chief Willie Obiano governor of Anambra State, has promised Anambra state citizens a safe and secure celebration during the coming Christmas. Governor Obiano made this announcement while in Lagos addressing the Old Boys of Christ the King College, Onitsha, at their celebration of the feast of Christ the King at the weekend.
Duly represented by Joe Billy Ekwunife, Managing Director and CEO of Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA), he told the people gathered that the state government has tried their best to ensure that criminal groups and their activities in are no longer a norm in Anambra state.
Assuring the citizens that the state uses Drone surveillance technology and other invisible security equipment to monitor and respond to distress calls from any part of the state from the office.
He also reported that the high rates of armed robbery and kidnapping in Anambra state have now disappeared as even President Muhammadu Buhari has commended Anambra State as the safest and most secure state in Nigeria.
