At the AMVCA (African Magic Viewers Choice Awards) 2022, which was held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island – Lagos, African celebrities didn’t come to play as they looked their very best, while some others made us wonder “what is going on?”.

The award show kicked off on Sunday, May 8, 2022, with a series of events consisting of a fashion runway show, brunch for content creators, young filmmakers day, and culture and food festival day for eight days.

Attendees transformed the film award show into a high fashion runway show with several stunning looks on the red carpet. Household names stormed the red carpet in magnificent designer gowns and suits, artistic hairstyles, and flawless makeup. From present-day interpretations of traditional dresses to noble versions of formal wear, every red carpet outfit reflected a high level of eccentric creativity and oddity in the Nigerian fashion industry.

With stylish celebrities like Osas Ighodaro (who won the Best Dressed Female), Toke Makinwa, Denola Grey, (who won the Best Dressed Male), and Nancy Isime, in attendance, viewers, and guests were in for blazing hot fashion goodness.
