State Ministry Distributes Palliative Across 21 LGAs

The palliative recently donated to the state by the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari has undergone distribution by the Anambra State Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, across the 21 local governments in the state.

The distribution was performed by the Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka.

The palliatives were distributed to the twenty-one coordinators of women groups from across the twenty-one local government areas of the state, who will in turn distribute to all indigent women in their domain.

Speaking at the event, one of the coordinators, Mrs. Monica Ossai, from Ogbaru council area, expressed deep appreciation to Mrs. Buhari, for her kind gesture and promised that the items will get to the people
they are meant for.

It should be pointed out that Mrs. Buhari donated food items to the wife of Anambra State governor, Dr Ebelechukwu Obiano, for distribution to women in the state.

The items include five hundred bags of ten kg rice, five hundred nylon packs of condiments, thirty pieces of thermometers and five cartons of facemasks.
