Supporters of the governorship candidate representing the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, gathered at his home in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, on Sunday night ahead of the results announcement.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that troops of women, youths, and political associates gathered at his residence to await the election announcement of the results. when interviewing some of the supporters, they expressed great joy at Prof. Charles Soludo becoming the new governor of Anambra State.
The Anambra election, which took place on Saturday, November 6 was declared inconclusive as a result of “no elections” in Ihiala LGA. The supplementary election shall be conducted in Ihiala on Tuesday, November 9.
