Producers and directors have made the move to make productions set safer following the tragic death of Halyna Hutchins, the cinematographer on the set of Rust movie who was accidentally shot dead by actor Alec Baldwin.
Dwayne Johnson, who is promoting his upcoming movie, Red Notice told Variety that real guns will no longer be allowed on the set of any of his Seven Bucks film productions.
“We’re going to switch over to rubber guns, and we’re going to take care of it in post-production. We’re not going to worry about the dollars. We won’t worry about what it costs.” Dwayne Johnson said.
Speaking further, the actor expressed his grief over the death of Halyna and extended his condolences to her family and everyone on set.
