Today is Ash Wednesday and major Italian diocese and archdiocese cancelled services and suspended public Masses because of coronavirus in Italy, which is the beginning of a deadly outbreak in Europe.
More that 150 coronavirus cases have been recorded in Italy so far, that are mainly in the northern regions of Lombardy and Veneto Italy
This past weekend Italian regional officials in Veneto canceled school and major public events till 1st March, including the popular Venice Carnival and several major sporting events. Some areas are already under quarantine.
