The entertainment company takes on a deeply indigenous path for its first big-screen project.

A young female fashion entrepreneur with a dark past as a sex worker navigates its consequences. It was solely created and written by Jack’enneth Opukeme who doubled as an actor in the film.

Mimidoo Bartels and Barbara Babarinsa-Hassan, with FilmOne Entertainment, set November 3, 2023, for Adire’s theatrical debut.

The announcement came after a private screening on October 6, 2023, attended by the cast, crew, and select press members.

Following the conclusion of the screening, FilmOne also released an interesting teaser to create anticipation. The short clip intimated a highly cultural theme and plot for its audience to expect in the coming days.

Directed by Adeoluwa Owu (Captain Degzy), starring Kehinde Bankole as the titular fashion designer.

The cast includes Femi Branch, Kelechi Udegbe, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Ibrahim Chatta, Yemi Blaq, Yvonne Jegede, Lizzy Jay, Mike Afolarin, Tomi Ojo, Damilola Ogunsi, Onyinye Odokoro, Ifeanyi Kalu, and Layi Wasabi.
