Politicians Laud President Lawan’s Leadership as He Clocks 63

To celebrate his 63rd birthday, Senate President Ahmad Lawan has been described by governors and politicians as a patriotic Nigerian who has deployed his vast experience in politics for the good of the nation.

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, Lawan’s patriotism of putting the nation’s interests above every other consideration has made him a respected leader in Nigeria.

“On behalf of my family, the people and government of Kogi State, I wish to congratulate Your Excellency on the occasion of your 63rd birthday anniversary.

“I must say that Nigerians are indeed proud of your rare display of patriotism and selflessness by ensuring that you always place national interest as uppermost in your leadership style as President of the Nigerian Senate.”

The Yobe North senator became Senate president in June 2019 and has evinced great leadership traits as chairman of the National Assembly.

The Northern Governors’ Forum described him as a legislator per excellence and a patriotic Nigerian who has deployed his vast experience in politics for the good of the nation.

Chairman of the forum and Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong convgeyed the North’s governors’ message to Lawan.

He said Lawan has continued to provide purposeful leadership to the Ninth Senate by ensuring that the business of law-making is carried out with the overall interest of Nigerians.
