Three weeks after Nigeria began administering the COVID-19 vaccines to eligible Nigerians , Kogi state is finally set to accept the inculcating of the vaccine to residents.
Saka Haruna, the state commissioner for health, said today, the state would receive doses of the vaccine and begin rollout thereafter. Haruna said “We have done the micro planning and everything has been completed with the NPHCDA.” He stated that the vaccine would be given voluntarily. This means, no one would be forced to take the vaccine.
Haruna revealed that more information would be given concerning the vaccine rollout and when the doses would be available.
