At just 28 years old, Mowalola boasts an impressive list of achievements. She was born in Nigeria but ventured to London, UK in 2017 to pursue her passion for fashion at the University of Arts. Since then, her career trajectory has been nothing short of extraordinary.
In 2019, Mowalola made her mark with a showcase at London Fashion Week, catching the discerning eye of none other than Skepta. That same year, she created headlines by styling the iconic Naomi Campbell in a fashion-forward and controversial ensemble.
Her design prowess extended to crafting outfits for Skepta’s “Pure Water” music video, and she was among the select group of six designers chosen by British Vogue to style Barbie dolls in honor of the company’s 60th anniversary. In 2020, Kanye West recognized Mowalola’s talent, appointing her as the Design Director of Yeezy Gap.
