D’ Prince, the label boss of Jonzing World, introduced Gdzilla, capturing the interest of listeners with his face mask.
He fashioned the mask after the fictional pre-historic Godzilla character, from whom he also borrowed his stage name. Listeners found the mask to be an attention-grabbing antic that instantly ticked off some fans and led to criticism on social media.
The rising talent who released his debut self-titled EP in 2023, is the third artist from the Jonzing World talent pipeline after Rema and Ruger who also had their unique branding.
The artist, whose music incorporates significant street elements, stated that his debut EP drew inspiration from his experiences, and he plans to reveal more of this in his upcoming releases.
With Gdzilla, D’ Prince and Jonzing World is aiming for a hattrick of breakthrough artists following the mainstream success of Rema and Ruger, especially now that Ruger has left Jonzing World label to set up his label.
