Ugandan superstar Edirisa Musuuza popularly known as Eddy Kenzo, has been selected to be part of the talented artist lineup for the African Food and Music Festival, one of the most prominent culinary events in East Asia.
Eddy Kenzo was previously nominated for a Grammy Award and is now leading the Uganda National Music Forum.
In addition to releasing new music, he has also been nominated for and won awards worldwide. This has helped him to keep his brand relevant and in the public eye.
His being selected to headline the African Food and Music Festival is a testament to his artistry.
The African Food and Music Festival showcasing African culture, tourism, and trade, will take place in Tokyo, Japan from July 28 to 30, 2023.
The festival will showcase contemporary African music that has evolved from traditional music while highlighting African culture, tourism, and trade.
Also performing at the three-day event are talented artists from different parts of the world. This includes Bishop XL of Nigeria, Uju Ssyma Nnanna of Japan, Zion TMZ, and many others, as announced on the organizers’ official social media pages.
Attendees at the event will be treated to African dishes prepared by licensed African chefs in Japan using domestic ingredients and unique cooking methods.
