The speculations about who will be the VP under different political parties have been the pivot of many conversations in the past weeks , while many express their thoughts about the whole process , the debates surrounding who will run with the Opposition parties candidate, Atiku Abubakar. With a final selection of the Delta State Governor , Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State, there seems to be a certain level of calm as attentions are on the other political parties as the days going forward.
In new updates , the Governor reflecting on his Diplomatic Side as attended to the question on many peoples lips in respect to the fate of Rivers State Governor , Nyesom Wike, who is also a very vocal individual in the PDP. Laying issues to rest , the Governor made this statement below ;
“Governor Wike is a very strong party man he has great love for our party and I believe he is also a good democrat, he understands that when several brothers are in the race for a particular position it has to be one person at a point in time.
” But I want to assure you that Governor Wike is a very good man and his interest for this country and the party is to be able to rise up to the challenge at the moment. He is strong and I do not feel that he is going to be disappointed.”
