Clarion Chukwura is an unstoppable woman and that makes her our idol. Born on the 24th of July  1964, Clarion Chukwura is a Nollywood actress and Humanitarian from Anambra State. She is the only daughter of four children, three guys and a lady. After attending primary school in Lagos, she proceeded to The Queen of the Rosary College in Onitsha. She proceeded to the Obafemi Awolowo University where she acquired a degree in Acting and Speech.

With a career that has spanned over thirty-five years, Clarion Chukwura shot into fame in 1980 after starring in the soap opera, “Mirror in the Sun” and since then has featured in a good number of movies. She was the First Nigerian to win best actress category at the 1982 FESPACO Film Festival in Burkina Faso. Her love and passion for acting made her become the recipient of several awards, some of which include, Africa Cinema Award (2003), Reel award for Best Actress (2004), Africa Movie Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role (2014).

Clarion was not just all for her career, she devoted her time to service to humanity and charity work across Africa, and as a result, she was recognized by the United Nations as a Peace Ambassador.  In her State, she was also honored with a chieftancy title, Ada Eji Eje Mba 1 of Onitsha.

 Clarion Chukwura has been married three times and she is the mother of popular music video director, Clarence Peters.
