Security operatives have rescued six of the victims who were kidnapped at the university of Abuja on Friday.
The victims were part of those abducted after gunmen invaded the staff quarters of the university. It was furth gathered that four members of staff and two of their children were kidnapped on Tuesday, which has led to increased military checkpoints in and around the city and stop and search operations by police.

The news of their release was also confirmed by university’s management stating that six of the victims regained their freedom on Friday. Meanwhile, the Police Spokeswoman, Josephine Adeh Anipr said the rescued victims were reunited with their families.
