The Anambra state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Vincent Okpala has urged Ndi Anambra to use the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination in the state to kick the ailment out of our immediate environment.
Dr. Okpala who made the call when he led officials of the ministry to vaccinate traditional rulers at their chamber, government house Awka thanked Gov. Willie Obiano for making the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine available in the state and urged residents of Anambra state to get vaccinated.
Dr. Okpala who noted that the vaccine is free and safe revealed that the Ministry has opened an online platform where people can post their post Covid-19 experience, in order to help the ministry to serve Ndi Anambra better.
In their various remarks, the traditional ruler of Umuoba Anam, Igwe George Ekwealor and his Umuawulu counterpart, Igwe Joel Egwuonwu who have received the jab appealed to the people to utilize the opportunity and be vaccinated to kick the dreaded disease out of the State.
