Leaders need to really understand what democracy means, and also check with the political parties they represent to refocus their ambitions and make the system less toxic, so it can be sustained and grow over time, because they have to someday leave the system for our generation and when they do, what do we remember them for?
They should revert to looking at politics as the game of numbers and interests and leave it at that, the addition of violence really has no place with elections because it directly contradicts the agenda of building a democratic institution that can be emulated globally and also used as a point of reference of other African countries.

According to DSP Tochukwu Ikenga “ The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Echeng Echeng has said the ongoing effort to rid Anambra State of all manner of crimes and criminality is yielding enviable results “. The suspects were arrested on March 15th, 2022.
