During the Olusegun Obasanjo administration, Muhammadu Buhari took his supporters to the streets not only for the presidential campaign but also on a protest. Then, Late Colonel Emeka Ojukwu (Rtd) and General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) were holding street protest against the regime. They were embarking on a protest against what they termed the impunity of the government of Obasanjo’s democratic government.
