The Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS) is a significant event focused on addressing Africa’s developmental challenges through market-led solutions.
Scheduled for July 25-26, 2024, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, this summit is co-convened by the Sterling One Foundation and the United Nations Nigeria. It aims to foster inclusive development by bringing together leaders from the private and public sectors, civil society organizations, and the development community.
The 2024 summit’s theme, “Reimagining Progress: A New Blueprint for Sustainable Growth in Africa,” will feature over 2,000 global attendees, including C-suite executives, government leaders, and policymakers. Key activities will include panel sessions on thematic areas such as education, health, climate solutions, and renewable energy.
The event will also host an Investors Roundtable and a Social Enterprise Forum, where business leaders can pitch their innovative solutions to potential investors.
The ASIS is held both in-person and virtually. While virtual attendance is more accessible, in-person attendance is by invitation only.
The Summit is designed to facilitate conversations around regional inclusive development, focusing on various impact investment opportunities to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
