The Special Adviser to the Governor of Anambra on Disability Issues, Barr Chuks Ezewuzie has urged staff members of his office to step up their game and have the right attitude as work commences fully in the state.

Ezewuzie mentioned this in a speech during the year’s first staff meeting on Monday at the Prof Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka.

Ezewuzie emphasised the need for staff members to have the right attitude to work if they must excel in any task given to them.

“For you to perform excellently, you must have the right perception, the right connection and the right reflections.

“If you have the right perception, you won’t see your job as merely that of the government but rather you will put in your best to work religiously for the upliftment of the state”.

He expressed that he looks forward to seeing the best from all staff members while asking them to be dedicated to their duties and eliminate disobedience, dishonesty, collusion and cover-ups.

The Special Adviser also highlighted the unveiling of new committees to be constituted by the office in conjunction with the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) Anambra State Chapter.

There will also be a Worship House Accessibility Team (WHAT) to ensure that worship centres in Anambra State will be disability-friendly
