Soldier Killed Two Others Injured in Rivers State

A soldier has been killed and two others injured by gunmen during an ambush in Rivers State.

The troops were reportedly attacked yesterday close to Ahiankwo Market between Asari-Toru and the Emohua local government areas of the state.

It was learnt that the Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, Rowland Sekibo, visited the scene where the hoodlums opened fire on the soldiers.

Sekibo further confirmed that the two injured soldiers were in critical condition but were receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
