Second Niger Bridge: Julius Berger Tests Streetlights

The famous construction company, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has commenced the test on the illumination of the new streetlights on the.

This testing stage is reportedly the final stage of construction. The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola has stated that the bridge will be commissioned in December 2022 and will be opened for commuting.

The construction of the bridge is monitored by the Ministry of Works and Housing alongside the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) as it is a project of the federal government.

 

The Second Niger Bridge project started on the 1st of September, 2018. It is being constructed across the Niger river and it will move across Asaba in Delta, Ozubulu and Ogbaru zones in Anambra state.
