The Presidency has described the death of Ahmed Gulak, the former special adviser (political) to former the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan as a premeditated and gruesome murder.
This was made known by Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the President Muhammadu Buhari through his Twitter handle; “President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed outrage and disgust over what he called “the heinous murder of Adamawa politician Ahmed Gulak in Owerri, Imo State by yet to be identified gunmen.”

President Buhari warned that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free. “I’m repulsed by such premeditated and gruesome murder of Gulak by evil people who are determined to undermine the peace, unity and territorial integrity of our country, “he said.
