The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), on Tuesday, inaugurated the 36km dual carriageway of Owerri-Orlu road in Imo State.
He inaugurated the road as part of events to mark one official visit to Imo State.
His visit is coming amid a sit-at-home order in the southeast issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Buhari was welcomed at the airport by the governor of the state, Hope Uzodimma, and other dignitaries dressed in white outfits and red caps.
