Nigerians across five major cities recently witnessed a cultural spectacle as Orijin, the country’s proudly culture-forward beverage brand, wrapped up its nationwide Orijinal Nite Tour.
The tour was a lively celebration of heritage, connection, and community, merging the beauty of tradition with the thrill of modern nightlife.
From Ibadan to Port Harcourt, Owerri, Abuja, and Lagos, Orijinal Nite turned ordinary nights into unforgettable cultural experiences. Guests were welcomed with energetic dancers, drummers, and the aroma of herb-infused Orijin cocktails. Classic games like Ayo, Ludo, and Draft brought a nostalgic feel, while top DJs and local artists kept the crowd on their feet with thrilling performances.
A key highlight of the tour was the raffle draw, which rewarded loyal fans with prizes like smart televisions, standing fans, and household essentials. In Owerri, Blessing, a first-time Orijin drinker, couldn’t contain her joy after winning a 50-inch TV. “I am very grateful to Orijin. This is actually my first time tasting it, and I never imagined I’d be going home with something this big. Thank you, Orijin, for making this night unforgettable for me,” she said.
In Lagos, another winner, Olanrewaju Oladeji, shared his excitement after winning a smart TV, saying the experience made him even prouder to be part of the Orijinal community. Across other cities, guests echoed the same enthusiasm. Adedayo from Ibadan described the event as “a blend of cultural roots with Gen Z style,” while Abuja attendee, Ojo Muhsin, said the night turned him into a loyal fan of both the drink and the brand.
According to Orijin’s Senior Brand Manager, Dorcas Mashingil, “Orijinal Nite is more than an event. It is a cultural movement. With every stop across Nigeria, we showed how Orijin connects people to their roots while giving them unforgettable modern experiences.”
Uchechukwu Onwudiwe, Head of Marketing, Mainstream Spirits and RTS at Guinness Nigeria, added that Orijin’s mission has always been about authenticity and community. “Through Orijinal Nite, we created a platform that not only entertains but also reinforces pride in our heritage. The response from consumers nationwide has been incredible, and this is only the beginning,” he said.
With its mix of bold flavours, cultural expression, and unforgettable entertainment, the Orijinal Nite Tour has proven to be one of Nigeria’s most vibrant nightlife experiences. As the festive season approaches, Orijin plans to continue this momentum through more culturally rooted festivals and collaborations that keep the spirit of connection and pride in Nigerian heritage alive.
