On the 9th of september 2015, the Police Awka division responded to distress call, on reaching the residence located on Olisa Onyeka Crescent old G.R.A. Awka Anambra State, the police discovered dead bodies of four women including that of a female INEC officer, Mrs Chinwe Obi, who was the electoral officer for Onitsha South Local Government.
This was confirmed by Hosea Karma the commissioner of police Anambra State the police was alerted after several calls made to Mrs Obi were unanswered so family members decides to check on her and on searching her house, they discovered the bodies of all the women. the other three women believed to be church members had come to commiserate with Mrs Obi whose husband who just returned from Cotonou about a week ago had died in the same house.The other three women were found dead with their bibles still in their hand
Regardless he discarded murder as none of the women had any bruises on them and their bodies have been deposited at the state mortuary while investigations continues.
