ONITSHA-ADO NATIONAL YOUTH MOVEMENT – BEACH PARTY

The Lagos chapter of the Onitsha-Ado National Youth Movement (ONYM) Group formed in 1995 from the body of Onitsha Improvement Union (IOU), on Saturday 19th of June 2021 held a beach party at Oniru Private Beach off Ligali Ayorinde VI, Lagos.

With the vision to promote good governance, welfare and empowerment of Onitsha-Ado Youths, events like this have often been organized to bring together the people of Onitsha in Lagos State.

 

Mr Steve Egwuatu, the secretary for the group said that, about six (6) get-together events have occurred in the last 10years, although the last edition was about four (4) years ago.

This edition accommodated over sixty (60) persons, which was over the expected crowd. As many that heard about the party turned up to mingle with their fellow Onitsha people.

 

 

The party featured games, boat cruise, dancing and many other fun activities with refreshments included.

 

 

Credo Chukwurah the President of the Onitsha-Ado National Youth Movement (ONYM) urges other Onitsha indigenes residing in Lagos to be a part of the family; and attend meetings every second Sunday of the month at Onitsha House, 32 Alawode Street, Ikate, Surulere, Lagos Nigeria by 3pm prompt.
