At a Thanksgiving Gathering of the St. Mary’s Onitsha, Catholic Women Organization, Lagos branch, the congregation was admonished by the host in person of Rev. Fr Philip Egbuniwe, the Parish Priest of St. Mary’s Catholic Church Isolo, Lagos, to organize a program.
He charged them to pray for their beloved town, for progress and restoration. Coordination began after the President of St. Mary’s Onitsha CWO, Mrs. Winnie Ayalogu was made the Local Organizing Chairperson.
Three Onitsha Indigenous Clergies, Rev. Chude Menkiti, Rev. Felix Enwezor, and Rev. Fr. Philip Egbuniwe; the Anglican and Pentecostal denominations and people from diverse Onitsha meetings in Lagos will be in attendance at the event.
The upcoming program is purely INTERDEMONINATIONAL and would take place on the 1st of MAY 2021 at Domus Maria Event Center Isolo Lagos.
This publication is to invite ALL Onitsha indigenes in Lagos and environs to attend this maiden edition (as it would become an Annual event) to pray for ourselves and the good of our land.
It is also worthy of note that, Mr Achuta Emenike the President of Onitsha Improvement Union Lagos branch, encourages all members to turn out en masse.
