President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Olumide Akpata has assured that his administration will restore the Association back to its full glory; as his team is more committed to unifying all members of the NBA.

This assertion is coming off the recent Call to bar ceremony which held yesterday at the Eagle Square in Abuja.

The President also commended the newest members of the NBA for their efforts and resilience in the face of the tortuous journey to achieving their dreams and attaining their rightful seats as ministers in the Temple of Justice in spite of the impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic on their activities as students at the Nigerian Law School.

Akpata who expressed his delight, given the fact that the event was the first his administration witnessed, noted that the NBA is no longer business as usual; rather his administration will work towards unifying the Association.

Furthermore, he stated that in achieving this unity, all members of the NBA including the latest lawyers called to bar will be an integral part of his administration.

His words: ā€œIn the next couple of weeks, we shall be unveiling the plans that we have lined up to make their membership of the Association more beneficial to them and everyone. The ultimate objective is to bequeath to them and the generality of our members a united and value-adding Association that we all will be proud ofā€.
