The first lady of Anambra State, Ebelechukwu Obiano, has received the United States coronavirus vaccine.
In a video, Mrs Obiano was administered the vaccine while stating that it is necessary to get it to fight and survive the virus.
According to the governor’s wife, it took her daughter a lot of effort to get her booked for the vaccine.
“It took my daughter, Dr Ogechi Obiano, a lot of effort to get me booked for this vaccine. Thankfully I got it. It took me a lot to get here.
“I had to show them my bar code (which shows the patient’s appointment). They always heighten this,” she said.
The first lady added that she had been trying to get the vaccine for her husband Governor Willie Obiano but to no avail.
