It is wise to say that the most occurring issues in religion, ethnic or other fronts, have always risen to conflict due to the nature through which leaders who are supposed to stare the course of the nation into peace and growth, which can only come from stability and the spirit of nationalism.
Drawing the dots of the above paragraph and the current happenings in the Nigerian political context, we realize that certain individuals always penetrate the mindset of an ethnic group, and build up hate or anger against the other. In respect to the comment made by certain individuals , who have been in government for decades, I must say it sounds like the tone which Certain politicians has used over and over again, which only leads to more division and tension in the country.
A PDP Presidential aspirant Nyesom Wike of Rivers has said he will tackle insecurity and poverty holding the country back from attaining greatness , if he is elected as the president of Nigeria in 2023.
Wike made this know while addressing the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) delegates on 11th of April , 2022, in Maidugiri, Bornu State. Nyesom Wike , expressed great confidence in the ability of the PDP winning the elections went ahead to claim that the APC had failed to handle the rising security situation in the country.
