NRC Suspends Abuja-Kaduna Train Route After Alleged Terrorist Attack

Officials of the Nigerian Railway Corporation have confirmed that a halt to the services on the Abuja-Kaduna route following allegations that a portion of the train track was bombed by bandits. The NRC officials stated that investigations are ongoing to determine if the track was bombed.

The former Senator from kaduna State, Shehu Sani tweeted via his Twitter handle that bandits attacked a train on the route on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Abuja/Kaduna Train Service Station Manager, Paschal Nnorli, confirmed that there was an attack on the train but not sure if it was an explosive.
